Profile

Computer science engineer (M.Sc. in AI, Université Nice-Sophia) with a dual background in embedded systems and evolutionary models. I design software architectures for robotics and experimental AI, with a strong interest in integrating symbolic reasoning into functional graphs optimized via concurrent evolutionary algorithms. I am seeking research collaborations in neuro-symbolic AI, cognitive robotics, and bio-inspired optimization.

Research Interests

Major Research Projects

🔬 GLUE – Genetically Led Universal Evaluator

2017–present · Personal research project

Experimental C++ framework for highly concurrent evolutionary optimization of functional node graphs. Graphs undergo cascade mutations and reverse mutations, exploring solution spaces in parallel (multi‑core / multi‑process). The architecture supports dedicated symbolic nodes (logic, rules), enabling hybrid neuro‑symbolic approaches. C++ OpenMP/MPI Evolutionary graphs

🤖 Gaston – Semi‑humanoid Robot

2021–present · Personal project

Wheeled robot with 16 DOF, equipped with two cameras, IMU, microphone, and modified servos providing proprioceptive feedback (position + current consumption) on each joint. Runs on ARM Linux with ROS drivers. Next step: embedding GLUE as the decision and planning engine. ROS ARM Linux Proprioceptive sensors

🌍 SIM – SystemOne Image Manager

2020–2021 · Project for a robotics company (Rome)

3D geospatial visualization software: acquires satellite tiles and drone imagery, projects them in real‑time onto a spherical globe (Google‑Earth‑like). UI in C#, computation engine in C++/OpenCL for GPU acceleration. Enables immersive navigation in 3D reconstructions from aerial views. C# C++ OpenCL 3D rendering

💻 VOS – Virtual Operating System

2018–2019 · Personal project

Client‑server architecture in JavaScript simulating a multi‑user operating system with a graphical web interface. Built as a proof‑of‑concept for distributed collaborative environments. JavaScript Node.js UI/UX

Software Engineer – 2015–2017

Designed and developed the Ground Control Software (GCS), the primary piloting and programming software for Novadem's professional drones. Deployed worldwide with first‑response teams. Mastered Embarcadero C++ Builder, wrote modern and efficient C++ code. C++ GUI Real‑time systems

Pixmap – Sophia Antipolis, France

R&D Engineer – 2014–2015

Integrated SLAM technologies developed by Pixmap3D. Designed a self‑localization and mapping method using ultrasonic sensors. Developed full ROS packages and deployed them on various hardware platforms. ROS SLAM Ultrasonics

I3S – CNRS (MinD team) – Sophia Antipolis, France

Research Associate – 2014

Studied evolutionary methods for multi‑objective and multimodal problems in CBIR (Content‑Based Image Retrieval). Conducted experiments on the ECJ platform (Evolutionary Computation in Java). Work was integrated into the team's final solution. CBIR Evolutionary algorithms ECJ

LPMC – CNRS (Photonics group) – Nice, France

Scientific Web Developer – 2013

Built a web portal for collecting and sharing experimental results on light scattering in optical fibers. Provided interfaces for presenting, comparing, and discussing data. HTML5 PHP Databases
